Registration has closed for Day 1a of Event 2 and there are 255 players total who joined in the action today. Since tomorrow is a Saturday we’re expecting quite a few more players to jump into this tournament which will build the prize pool well past the $100K guarantee and give good value to the participants who cash – and as usual, a great payout to the player who finishes in first place!

Players should remember the Fall Classic MVP Belt will be awarded for the player who demonstrates the best overall performance over the course of the whole Fall Classic, so getting points in Event 2 could be a big help.

Players are taking their seats for Event 2 of the Playground Poker Fall Classic, a $200 + $20 No Limit Hold’em Deepstack Re-entry tournament with two Day 1s, Day 1a today and Day 1b tomorrow. This tournament has the same $100K guarantee that Event 1 had, and like Event 1 it’s a 3 Day tournament.

Today’s Day 1a will play through 16 levels of 30 minutes each. Everyone left in the action at the end of today will proceed to Day 2 on Sunday. It’s a next-day re-entry event, so anyone who doesn’t qualify today may re-enter tomorrow and try again.
