It’s a beautiful day in the Montreal area and 418 players have taken their seats in Event 8, the Main Event of the Full Tilt Poker Montreal Festival.
One unavoidable element of life on the South Shore in the area is bridges – Montreal is an island, after all, and to get from Montreal to Kahnawake there’s no alternative but to take a bridge. And where you have bridges, you have bridge construction! The start today was delayed by half an hour to let those stuck in traffic to get here when the tournament started today.
Remember as well that due to the massive turnout for the event, players will play through 13 levels of 45 minutes each day 1, with a 45-minute dinner break after level 8.
