    Cimbolas busts Farrell

    • Level: 11
    • Small Blind: 25K
    • Big Blind: 50K
    • Button Ante: 50K
    • Chip Average: 2.8M

    2018/04/29 - 14:58 by Shawn McCrory

With the blinds at 25K/50K, Matas Cimbolas opened the action to 125K from middle position. Ramesh Puradchithasan, the next to act, made the call before the action got to Niall Farrell on the button. Farrell put in a three-bet to 600K, putting the pressure back on Cimbolas, however, he turned the tables on his opponents and moved all-in for roughly 2.5M. The raises chased Puradchithasan out of the hand, and Farrell quickly called off his stack. Hands were tabled to reveal that Cimbolas had Queen of Clubs Queen of Spades, putting him comfortably ahead of Farrell’s 8 of Diamonds 8 of Clubs. It was a bad board for pocket queens but the Ace of Diamonds King of Hearts Jack of Spades 10 of Diamonds 10 of Hearts run out did not connect with Farrell’s hand, and he calmly left the table.
