Lucas Drolet, the Main Event’s chip leader at the last break, is showing everyone what it takes to get to the top of the leader board.
A hand he just played with Taylor Black offers a good example. Black defended his big blind to Drolet’s opening raise from the button and then check-raised Drolet’s continuation bet of 3M to 9M on a
board. Drolet made the call, and the players watched the
fall on the turn. Black led out with a bet of 10M on the turn, before Drolet moved all-in. Black quickly folded, letting Drolet take down the big pot and pad his chip lead.
