Darryll Fish has won a big pot to bring the players’ stack size closer to even in this HU match.

Taylor was on the button and raised to 30M holding Jack of Spades 10 of Spades. Darryll made the call and the flop was dealt: 7 of Clubs King of Spades 9 of Diamonds. Taylor had flopped a ton of equity though he didn’t have a made hand, and he bet 25M while Darryll check-called. The turn was the Ace of Hearts and Taylor placed a 40M bet. Darryll made the call.

The river was the Ace of Spades and Darryll checked again. Taylor fired his third bullet – a 140M bet into a 190M pot.

Darryll thought about it for several minutes before throwing a single chip – he had made the call! After stacking the chips, Darryll was playing around 830M (59bb) while Taylor was on 1,010M (77bb) and the tournament was now in yet another new phase.
