Darren Elias, currently nursing a top 3 stack in the High Roller, just added a few chips to his belongings, to the expense of Victor Ramdin.

Elias opened the pot with a 150K raise. Only Ramdin tagged along, and they went to the flop, which was checked by both.

When Ramdin checked the turn, Elias threw in 175K. Ramdin contested by raising to 400K. Elias called. On the river, Ramdin checked once more, and folded to the sizable 750K bet that Elias pushed forward.

Elias, scooped in a 7-digit pot, adding to his already impressive stack. He is looking to bag a comfortable arsenal for tomorrow’s Day 2.

When we got to the table, the flop was out and Shaan Siddiqui had put out a 190K bet. Foxen called. On the turn, Siddiqui pressed with 260K, which were also called by Foxen.

The river came out, and this time Foxen faced an all-in bet. He shook his head. He decided that he was too invested to back down, and pushed his remaining 700K or so in the middle, hoping to see a bluff.

The registration period is now over. We do not have the final numbers or prize pool just yet, but we will publish them here as soon as they are made public. One thing is for sure, players in the High Roller will be enjoying an overlay of about 20%.

Marc Macdonnell is crushing the Event, and his 6,650,000 stack is now up on stage. His table, where Viktor Blom is also playing, is going on partypoker’s live stream. You can follow the action under the live tab of the blog, found here.

There are only 3 levels left to Day 1, after which the survivors will bag their chips. Here is the top 5 going into the last stretch:

Isildur1, an iconic online poker figure, just made his entrance in the High Roller. Actually, since he took down the MILLIONS Germany Main Event in February, he is now also a live poker figure. We remember the unbelievable call that got him the crown, a hand that was soon called the Hand of the Century.

He is sitting on Marc Macdonnell’s table, our current chip leader.

When Darren Elias made it 65K to go, he was called by Kevin Hobbs and re-raised to 215K by William Foxen. Elias tought for some time, took a short look at Foxen’s stack, and 4-bet to 700K.

Hobbs looked annoyed, and reluctantly folded a hand that he probably would have liked to see a flop with. Foxen did not wait for too long before going all-in for a little over a million. Elias made the obvious call, as he got what he was looking for.
