Even though we are still in the first level of play, there is already some great action at the tables. Ghislain Pigeon has already doubled his stack in a hand against Joshua Resvick. All the action happened pre-flop. Resvick made an initial raise of 30K, but Pigeon bumped it up to 85K. Resvick pushed foward 275K and Pigeon decided to go all-in. Resvick made the call but unfortunately he ran into Pigeon’s with his .

The board didn’t help him much and Pigeon had his stack covered.

As predicted, there has been a significant uptick in the number of players to start the day. Where there were 60-70 players at the tables to start Days 1A and 1B, there are already 161 seated – and many more at the cage getting their registration completed.
