The players are taking every avenue available to get in to the Main Event on Day 2B.

For players looking to get in (or back in) to the Main Event, the flip’n go has become an increasingly popular and exciting option. It is basically a sit’n go in pill form; $530 buy-in, ten players, two or four cards each, one board and the best hand wins a ticket to the Main Event. They are available on demand, and the players have been lining up to take their shot. With over three hours of late registration for Day 2B still available, there are sure to be more. Don’t miss out!

Dean Murphy has hit the ground running on Day 2B. Murphy started the day with slightly more than 6 million chips in the bag, and he just made a major addition to his stack by eliminating Ghislain Pigeon.

Pigeon bet 250K on the turn of a 10 of Spades 6 of Clubs Ace of Diamonds 9 of Spades board. Murphy, in position, quickly raised it up to 650K. Pigeon took a moment to consider his options before moving all-in for roughly 2M. The speed of Murphy’s call let Pigeon know that he was in trouble despite holding top two pair with :1a 10 of Clubs. Murphy opened 10 of Clubs 10 of Diamonds for middle set, and Pigeon promptly rose from his chair. The 7 of Diamonds hit the river, and Murphy collected yet another big pot.

The direct buy-ins and re-entries are adding up quickly on Day 2B of the MILLIONS Main Event. As everyone knows, today is the last chance to get in on the action, and the players clearly don’t want to let the opportunity provided by this historic event pass them by.

As we near the end of the first level of play, the number of entries has already reached 460, meaning that there have been 189 buy-ins and re-entries so far. There is still nearly four hours left in the late registration and re-entry period so that number will increase significantly.

Day 2B of the MILLIONS North America Main Event takes off at 12pm today, and will be the last chance for players to take part in this massive event boasting a $10,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

A total of 271 bags have been set on the tables from previous Day 1s, and late registration will remain open through the first 4 levels of play today. So far over 70 players have already bought-in directly to Day 2B, a number which is certain to grow until the close of registration.

The biggest stack belongs to Michael Sklenicka, who closed his Day 1 flight with a cool 10,195,000 for the overall chip lead. Darryll Fish is second in chips with 6,900,000, while Kevin Dawe rounds the top 3 with 6,315,000. The Day 2B seating draw with chip counts is available here.

The plan for the day is to play through 8 levels of play, and the surviving players from both Day 2s will reunite tomorrow at 12pm for Day 3. Late registration will remain open until 4:30pm, don’t miss you chance at becoming our next Millionaire!

    See you on the felts!
