After 9 levels the players enjoyed a well-deserved break, and we had a chance to identify the possible chip leaders.

The tournament registration is now closed, and a total of 454 players made their way into the tournament. We have 197 players still in the running at the moment. Only the players still in play at the end of level 12 will qualify for Day 2, which starts tomorrow at 1:00pm

Lasha Kapanadze, who earlier enjoyed the top spot in chip counts, has fallen a little behind but shows no sign of slowing down. Samuel Chaput has managed to double his stack since the last break, and is currently the chip leader with 230,800 chips.

With only 2 levels to go, the players seem very focused and are eager to feed their stacks, in order to bring as many chips as possible to Day 2.
