Play has just finished in Day 1B of the Closer – the second of four starting flights in the event. Last night’s Day 1A attracted 214 entries, including 47 re-entries, and 35 players got to bag chips for Day 2.
Tonight we received 337 entries, including 75 re-entries. When all was said and done, 52 players were left standing at the end of level 14, to put chips in the bags. Players will return on Day 2 which is scheduled for Monday, September 3rd at 12:00PM.
Yesterday Gary Farrell was the chip leader of Day 1A and bagged 470,000 chips. Tonight, Rami Hammoud, who’s been on the leader boards all day, bagged an impressive 555,000 chips. Samuel Miranda is a close second with an equally impressive 499,000 chips. These are the only two players to have accumulated more than 300,000 chips tonight.
All of today’s results will be added to the Event #5 – Closer – Combined Closer Day 1 results page.
Players may also try to qualify through multiple flights, and if a player does qualify twice, the largest stack will go through to Day 2.
There are two more Day 1s for a chance to get in on the action:
Day 1C: Sunday September 2nd at 12:00PM
Day 1D: Sunday September 2nd at 6:00PM
