Although the stacks are deep, the players in the High Roller are not being shy about playing big pots and taking big risks. A hand that just played out between Benjamin Leblond, Raymond Latinsky and David Olshan offers a good illustration.

With the blinds at 2K/4K, the three players saw a flop of 3 of Diamonds 6 of Hearts 5 of Hearts. Olshan, the first to act, checked the action over to Leblond who put out a 20K bet. Latinsky, on the button with the largest stack, raised it up to 62K before Olshan raised all in for 299K. Leblond quickly pushed his stack forward, forcing Latinsky out of the pot and hands were tabled. It was two over cards and the nut-flush draw for Olshan with Ace of Hearts Queen of Hearts, up against Leblond’s flopped two pair with 5 of Diamonds 6 of Diamonds. The turn, the King of Diamonds, improved Leblond’s hand, but the 2 of Hearts on the river sealed it for Olshan with the ace-high flush.

Olshan now sits among the chip leaders with something in the neighbourhood of 650K in chips.
