The remaining players in the High Roller are both skilled and determined. And that combination makes it difficult to get their chips. At this stage, it takes a set-up hand or a cooler spot. On the most recent elimination, it was the tournament classic.

Maximilian Droege moved all in with Ace of Diamonds King of Hearts after a pre-flop opening raise from Ruben Perceval. Perceval was holding Queen of Hearts Queen of Spades so when all the chips went in and hands were tabled, it was a familiar tournament situation to all in attendance. In the end, Perceval’s pocket pair faded Droege’s over cards, sending Droege to the rail in fourteenth place.

Droege will collect $8,000 for the deep run.
