The late registration and re-entry period just closed on the High Roller but not before 289 players had the chance to get in on the action. The huge number of entries was helped by the 41 re-entries, putting nearly 29 million in chips in play.

There is still a long way to go in this event; with 132 players left, the average stack provide over 50 big blinds, and the field will be playing through as many 45-minute levels as it takes to crown a champion. Ruben Perceval and Jeffrey Cormier, both notable players with numerous big tournament cashes on their respective resumes, have the two biggest stacks in play, each with more than triple the current average.
