The players went on a scheduled break while the tournament staff performed a chip race to remove the 1K chips.

This gave us the opportunity to survey the four remaining stacks and provide an update. We thought to show our readers just how those chips stack up and what they look like from a player’s perspective.

Patrick Braga went all in with a pocket pair, but he ran up against Khalid Waziri holding a good enough hand to call Braga’s all-in.

Khalid Waziri, who has had a great run today, hit the jack right on the window. Then it just went from bad to worse for Braga.

So Braga hits the rail in 5th place and Khalid Waziri becomes a force to be reckoned with.

As players keep the action intense and constant, the shorter stacks feel compelled to take more risks, and the field is reducing at a brisk pace.

The latest victim is Shailesh Patel who ran out of luck and chips and headed for the rail in 6th position.

Only moments after the elimination of More in 8th position, Jun Francis Ishili arrived at the end of his run in the Monster Stack tournament as well.

Jun Francis Ishili goes home in a respectable 7th place out of 454 players.

Ranbir Singh More had no luck when he went all-in against Sebastien Lepine who was holding a decent pocket pair.

So Ranbir Singh More goes to the rail in 8th position as Sebastien Lepine continues to increase his stack.

Almost immediately after taking a seat at the final table, Philippe Belley was all-in with a pocket pair. Unfortunately for him Weituoxin Wu also had one.
