Noeung Troeung was all in from the bb and action was back on Shane Currey on the button. Currey was covered, but it was close, and both players had about average stacks. Shane thought for a few moments but then made the call, stabbing a pile of red T25K chips into the felt to communicate his decision. The hole cards were exposed:

The flop was safe enough for the Queens: and the turn was equally safe: . The dealer knocked the table, burned, and dealt the river: – a disaster for Noeung! Shane doubled up to just under 1M in chips, while Noeung was left with about 10bb.

The players are now on break, and this break represents the last chance for players to re-enter – the tournament will be a freezeout when play resumes.

The late registration period will come to a close in just under an hour, but the entry and re-entry pace has stabilized quite a bit and there have only been two entries since dinner.

The players in the $5,000 + $300 Super High Roller are now taking a dinner break, and during the break we collected the counts of the leaders to this point in the tourney. All three players in the following list are on their only bullet so far in the tourney.

Kristen Bicknell has just doubled though Samuel Chartier as her outdrew Samuel’s on a board. The full double takes her to just a little over the starting stack of 250K. Samuel, for his part, is down to around 170K.

Players will take a 30 minute break in just a few minutes and will return to the tables with 2 more levels of late registration (plus the 15 minute break following those 2 levels.

Daniel Henderson was just outside of the top 5 in chips at the last break, but in the following 3 levels he stormed up the standings and he’s current the chip leader by a fairly wide margin.
