Blinds are increasing and so is the action. We are currently at the end of level 5. There are 556 entries so far including 67 re-entries. Some big hands are being played and we got lucky enough to witness one that allowed Peter Shonk to double up.

We got to the table after the flop was revealed. Peter Shonk checked the flop and his opponent, Stephan Richer, immediately pushed his entire stack in. Shonk made the call and showed his Ace of Spades Ace of Diamonds. Richer wasn’t very happy to see those bullets since Shonk had him covered and had the best hand. His Queen of Hearts Queen of Clubs will end up costing him his tournament life.

Board: 2 of Spades 8 of Diamonds 4 of Diamonds 10 of Spades King of Clubs
