The final table of the MILLIONS Open had been playing very cautiously for the better part of two levels until Kauvsegan Ehamparam and Martin Jacobson clashed in a battle of the blinds.

With the blinds at 2M/4M, the action had folded to Jacobson, in the small blind, and he put out a raise to 12M. Ehamparam, in the big blind, came over the top and made it 25M to go. Jacobson made the call, and the two players saw a flop of 3 of Diamonds Queen of Diamonds 8 of Clubs. Jacobson checked to Ehamparam who was happy to take the chips in the middle and moved all-in. To his dismay, Jacobson immediately called and rolled over Queen of Hearts 8 of Hearts for top two pair. Ehamparam tabled his King of Diamonds King of Clubs in disbelief. Fortunately for him, the turn brought out the 3 of Clubs, counterfeiting Jacobson and turning the tables. The river brought the 4 of Diamonds, and the dealer got to counting out the chips. It was a huge double up for Ehamparam, who had 102M behind.

The MILLIONS Open is now down to its final table, following the elimination of Alex Barbosa.

Karim-Olivier Kamal, who has been using his chip lead to bully his opponents, moved all-in from the button. Alex Barbosa, who was down to roughly 7 big blinds, had been waiting patiently for a good spot, decided this was the moment, and he called off his stack. The big blind, Alexander Hartung, got out of the way, and hands were tabled.

Kamal tabled 10 of Clubs 7 of Clubs, and Barbosa showed King of Diamonds 8 of Clubs for a slight pre-flop lead. The flop, Queen of Diamonds 6 of Clubs 5 of Spades, missed both players. The 7 of Diamonds turn put Kamal in the lead , but also provided Barbosa several more outs. Unfortunately for Barbosa, the Jack of Spades on the river wasn’t one of them and he left the tournament in 10th place. The deep run earned Barbosa $10,250.

The final table will start shortly following the seating re-draw.

Our deep runners in the Open are playing short-handed, 5 of them on each of the remaining 2 tables. Karim-Olivier Kamal doubled up on former chip leader Chris Moorman, and he is now shoulder to shoulder with Martin Jacobson at the top of our board.

    Play resumes now.

When Sébastien ”Seabass” Drolet-Poitras found himself in an unopened pot on the small blind, he did not look for fanciness. Considering Michael Leblanc’s stack, which represented about 30 big blinds, he shoved right away. Leblanc decided that his suited but weak ace was enough to roll the dice with, and called.

Seabass: 7 of Spades 7 of Hearts
Michael: Ace of Clubs 5 of Clubs

Board: 9 of Hearts King of Clubs 4 of Spades 3 of Spades 5 of Hearts

Seabass remained ahead and added a few stacks to his riches, passing the average. We are now one elimination away from the final table, with Chris Moorman still in the lead.

Shortly after the seating re-draw for the final two tables, Chris Moorman sent yet another player to the rail.

With the blinds at 1M/2M, Moorman opened the action from early position to 4.2M. The action folded to Alexander Dejuante, in the cut-off, who put out a raise to 11.5M. The rest of the table got out of the way and Moorman made the call. The two players saw a flop of 3 of Hearts 4 of Hearts 4 of Clubs. Moorman played in flow and checked to Dejuante who made a continuation bet of 9.3M. After asking how much Dejuante had behind, Moorman made the call. The turn brought out the 8 of Hearts, and Moorman led with a bet of 20.5M. Dejuante then moved all-in for roughly 40M more and was immediately called. Dejuante tabled 9 of Hearts 9 of Spades and Moorman showed Jack of Hearts 10 of Hearts. Knowing he only had two outs, Dejuante rose from his seat well before the 2 of Diamonds hit the river, and Moorman started stacking his new found chips.

Dejuante finished in 15th place, good for $7,750.
