Here are a few photographs taken during level 7:
Haddad leads after 6 levels
Interestingly enough, the leader after 6 levels has slightly less chips than the chip leader after 3 levels! After 6 levels of play, local regular Fadi Haddad is in charge of the field, being the only player above the 100,000 at this stage of the tournament. Here is a look at the top 5, along with their estimated chip counts:
- Fadi Haddad – 114,000
- Vartan Arzoumanian – 95,500
- Noy – 95,000
- Marc-Andre Racine – 88,000
- Jonathan Meyer – 87,000
Mid-day photos
We’ve recently passed the half-way mark here in Day 1A of the Main Event, and 15 tables remain in action. Christopher McClung is starting to accumulate chips, and is now sitting on roughly 60,000. George Caragiorgas is continuing his strong start, and is nearing the 75,000 start, while Kevin MacPhee slipped a little down to just over 50,000. Rayan Chamas has made his presence felt, and is quickly climbing the leaderboard, sitting on just shy of 100,000. Michael Malm has recently joined the field, and has collected a few pots in his short time at the tables.

Meet the Survivors!
Event 8 just wrapped up, and as it was a Survivor event, the top 10% split an even amount of money. With 120 starting players, that meant that the final 12 players each earned a prize of $1,940!
Here are the 12 players who managed to survive this tournament, and pocket the cash:
- Debra Ann Holman
- Robert Cicchelli
- Shane Flewelling
- Samuel Picard
- Jean-Francois Marin
- Tianshu Liu
- Daniel Mackay
- Joseph Abou Khalil
- Fabian Lacroix
- Michael Korovine
- Jerry Jordan
- Eleuterio De Miranda Guedes
Congratulations!
Survivors of Event 8 – $200 + $20 Survivor – $1,940 each
Just 2 eliminations away
There is a short break in progress, and the tournament is only 2 eliminations away from completion. As this is a Survivor event, the final 12 players will each take home $1,940.
The shortest stacks belong to Shane Flewelling (41,000) and Raphael Ohayon (46,000), but a few players are sitting around the 100,000 mark, which is also a danger zone.
