The Main Event (Event 9) of the Playground Winter Festival was a 4-Day No Limit Hold’em Event with a $1,000 + $100 buy-in and a $500,000 Prize Pool guarantee. There were two Day 1 starting flights and there were a total of 494 entries. Based on the number of entries, the total prize pool wass $500,000, from which was subtracted the 3% for staff gratuities according to the published rules of the event. This prize pool was paid out according to the following table.

Note that on the bubble, two players were eliminated on the same hand. As per normal tournament procedure, they divided the 54th prize between them. In addition, there was a deal at 2 players remaining (heads up). The players agreed to reserve $6,640.00 for the winner and divide the remaining $160,000.00 evenly between them. This deal is reflected in the following payout table.
