Event 3 has come to a close with a result we don’t often see in festival tournaments, but is routine in dailies – an even chop.
By the time play reached the final table, pretty much everyone was short-stacked as tighter play when the tournament got down to three and then two tables allows the amount of the blinds to overtake players’ stack sizes.
After three quick eliminations – including the elimination of tourney-long chip leader Normand Deguire – the remaining 7 players chose to chop the remaining prize pool for $695 each.
Congratulations to Georges Hallak, Martial Bonnaire, Charles Normand, Martin Surprenant, Melanie Viens, Olivier Lamarre, and Levi Stevens who shared in the victory.
