Sean Windover has been short-stacked for a while but is nevertheless trying to drive the action, and in this hand he opened to 300K. Cristian Burcea, on his immediate left, flat called as did François Graton-Valiquette. Jay Srinivasan in the big blind came along for the ride and there were 4 to the flop.

Both players had hit their low card, but François’ kicker had him solidly in the lead.

The turn came and then François groaned as the came out to give Cristian two pairs. It took him about half a second more to recognize that he had hit the nut flush to stay alive jn the tournament.

Francis Dery opened from utg, and Cristian Burcea moved all-in for 2,950,000 from middle position. It folded around back to Francis, who threw in some calling chips.

Francis is still in command even after that loss, holding a little under 7 million chips, while Cristian climbed to just over 6 million in chips.

The Wild $150 has lost another player as Pierre-Olivier Guay has been eliminated in 9th place.

Sean Windover opened the action in early position to 300K and Pierre-Olivier shoved over the top for just over 700K. Sean made the call and the cards were turned on their backs.

The board didn’t hit either player on the flop of , but the on the turn kept Sean in the lead and the on the river didn’t change anything.

Michel Gramigna’s stack had dwindled down to 170K when he open shoved from the button. The small blind folded and J-F Marin called from the big blind.

There was little drama on the flop of , but the on the turn gave Michel a flush draw, but alas it was not to come – the river spelled the end of his tournament.

Francis Dery opened from middle position to 250,000, and was 3bet by Francois Graton-Valiquette to 650,000. Stephan Belisle announced all-in from the small blind for a total of 800,000, which made Francis let go of his hand. Francois made the call, but found himself far behind.

Stephan flopped a set to his delight, but the turn brought some danger. In the end, his set held on the board to double him back into contention.

Tomaz Kalinowski open-shoved an unopened pot from the button with , but unfortunately for him he ran into a brick wall, as Francis Dery woke up with in the big blind.

Tomaz found no help on the board, and ended his deep run one spot shy of the final table. With that pot, Francis Dery took over the chip lead, and holds roughly 7,725,000.

Francis Dery opened to 225,000 from utg, and was 3bet to 600,000 by Dominic Gadoury from the small blind. Francis responded with an all-in, and was called by Dominic, who started the hand with roughly 1,500,000.

Brian Bond was still stacking chips from the last hand, where he 3bet Dominic Gadoury from the small blind and won the pot with a c-bet on the flop, when he opened his button to 210,000. Frederic Charest then announced an all-in from the big blind. Brian asked for a count, and tanked for a moment before committing the extra 695,000 more.
