Yvan was left with under 1 big blind when the hand was over, but won the next two hands to bring it up to 200,000. Peter delivered the final blow not long after however, as he won with versus the of Yvan.

Armand King was trying to take over the massive chip lead in the tournament, as he called off his stack versus an open-shove from Rodney Hallett, the only player who had him covered. He found himself way behind though, as they revealed their hands:

Fady Abazah used up his “One Time” earlier in the tournament to win a huge pot with 3 tables left. He tried again in this last hand, as he was all-in from utg with just over 1 big blind, and facing a call from Armand King in the big blind. His did pair the flop, but Armand and his made a straight with the running . The river changed nothing, sending Fady to the cashiers.

6th place: Fady Abazah – $875

Mazaltov Abitbol saw his stack dwindle to just a few thousand before moving in from middle position. He was called by Yvan Gravel in the big blind, and it was a race:

Yvan caught the turn on the board to score the knockout, and pick up a few extra chips along the way.

7th place: Mazaltov Abitbol – $650

Christo Bassila only played one hand on this final table, as he was delt and moved in from middle position. Unfortunately for him, Armand King woke up with and made the call. The pair of queens held up on the board, sending Christo home in 9th place.

Next to go was Alain Mathieu, as he tried to take advantage of an unopened pot to steal the blinds, but was caught by Peter Shaw.
