Yan Fantinato limped from the hijack, which enticed a flat from Andre Pelletier in the small blind, and a check from Eddie Daldalian in the big blind. On a flop of , Andre check-raised Yan’s 30,000 bet, and found all his chips in the middle drawing very slim.

Steven Saab found a good hand to move in with, as he pushed his last 93,000 with , however Johnny Mazzaferro woke up with a premium in the big blind, and made the call with .

Things were looking bleak for Steven, and the board of was of no help to him, ending his run in 8th place.

André Pelletier was very short (71.5K) and open shoved from UTG +1. Action folded around to Jennifer Brooks in the Big Blind who was also short – and she very reluctantly called.

There was no more action and the board ran out giving André the better hand. And when they counted down Jennifer’s stack to award the pot, she had no more chips left and was eliminated.

Johnny Mazzaferro opened to 18,000 from the button, and was faced with an all-in from Josef Ares from the small blind, who had 93,000 to his name. Johnny hesitated for a while, but finally made the call, and they were off to the races.
