Edward Hislop started this final table amongst the chip leaders, however he lost three big pots to get knocked out in 9th place.
In his last hand, he moved in from middle position for just over 100,000, and ran into Peter Bodnar and his monster premium in the big blind.

Andreas Loubounakis was looking for a spot to rebuild his stack after seeing a large chunk of it go to Michael Korovine a few hands earlier. He shoved for 151,000 from early position, and was followed by an all-in for 65,000 from Raymond Kay on the button, and a call from Edward Hislop.

After being crippled on the bubble to just a few big blinds, Michael Korovine has not only managed to rebuild his stack, but has actually taken over the chip lead on this final table. He recently doubled his stack when his pocket Jacks flopped a set versus Joseph Abou Khalil, who turned three of a kind in the hand.
In the most recent hand, Michael opened to 40,000 from the cutoff, and was faced with a 3bet from Andreas Loubounakis to 150,000, who was in the button position. He replied with an all-in of 364,000, and found a call.

Martin Peltier’s seems to have broken the dam, and in the matter of just a few hands there were another 4 eliminations, one after the other. Leaving the tournament were Kathy Sawers, Said Nehme, George Rombotis, and Martial Bonnaire. These eliminations bring the tournament to 10 players remaining – the final table.

The pace of eliminations has been extremely slow due to a combination of very tight play and a series of improbable double-ups by the shorter stacks. After almost a full level of this, Martin Peltier open raised all-in and was quickly called by Andreas Loubounakis.

A couple of players at the table seemed to plead for the best hand to win, and the board run-out of 
gave them their wish – but ushered Martin to the tournament desk to pick up his payment coupon.
Debra Ann Holman and Samuel Picard have been eliminated, the first two eliminations since the bubble burst and the two players to take home the famous “min-cash” prize. We missed the action, but at showdown, both Debra Ann and Samuel (holding 
and respectively) were still far behind Edward Hislop, who held on the 
board.
Debra Ann and Samuel each take home $600 for their efforts in the event.
Jean-Philippe Lehoux just brought us into the money in Event 4, as he called a 3bet shove by Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault after opening from utg+1. It was a race, and Jean-Philippe’s managed to hold versus Marc-Olivier’s on a 
board.
Samuel Picard showed some frustration as he claims to have folded pocket 8s in the hand facing the initial open to 23,000.
With that elimination, the remaining 17 players are assured of at least a min cash of $600, with $11,500 going to the eventual winner.
