Through level 5
The $300 + $30 Freeze has passed through level 5, following which there will be a break and late registration in the event will close. So far there are 161 players who have taken their seats in the event, and 147 of them are still alive in the tournament.
The tournament is a bit of a who’s who of local Montreal tournament regulars, and includes players like Players Club member Chris McClung, as well as other players who have had past success including Dean Murphy, Michael Korovine, Terry Flood, Noy, Randy Khalil, Linda Huard, Louis-Alexandre Cabana, and Tomas Magni – among a host of other solid players.

The $330 Freeze has begun
Play has begun in Event 4, the $300 + $30 Freeze in the Playground Winter Festival. This is a two-day event, with play scheduled to continue for 16 20-minute levels tonight.
There are already 105 players registered for the event, and with late registration open until approximately 9:15 we’re expecting quite a few more players to jump into the event.
Tonight! The $330 Freeze begins!
This evening at 7:30, Event 4, one of the marquee events of the Playground Winter Festival begins. The event is a $300 + $30 No Limit Hold’em Freeze.
This event has a capacity of 250 players (plus alternates) and play will continue for 16 levels tonight. The players that survive play this evening will return tomorrow evening to play down to a winner. Late registration is open for 5 levels, so be sure to join us for this fantastic event!
