The rebuy period is now over in Event 7 of the Playground Winter Festival, and the final tally is 68 players and 16 rebuys. Tournament staff is finalizing the prize pool and payout structures and we’ll publish this information shortly.

There are 50 players left in the tournament and since play is 10-handed in this event, that means that a table is breaking right now and play will continue on 5 tables.

The players in Event 7 are just starting their 4th level of the day, and it’s during this level that they’ll have their last opportunity to exercise their single rebuy – and it’s also the last level that new players can join the event. To date there are 61 players registered and there have been 10 rebuys, but both numbers are sure to increase in the next 20 minutes.

Event 7 in the Playground Winter Festival is a $60 + $10 Single Rebuy tournament. Players start with 15K in chips and have the option to rebuy once if they lose their stack (or drop below 3000 in chips) during the first 4 levels of play. Following the closure of the rebuy period, the tournament will proceed like a normal freezeout tournament.

Late registration ends at the same time as the rebuy period closes – so with 20 minute levels, that means players have until 1:30pm to jump in the event.
