There were 391 entrants in this second of four starting flights in Event 1. 89 of these players have qualified for Day 2 on Sunday, March 1st at 1pm.

We’ve reached level 11 here in the second flight of the Wild $150, which means only 3 levels remain before the end of the night. The full list of player-reported chip counts will be published shortly after the conclusion of the day.

The second break is now over, and players will have 5 more levels to complete before bagging and tagging their chips onto Day 2. Those who were unfortunate enough to get eliminated will have two more opportunities to try this opening event of the Playground Winter Festival, with Day 1c set tomorrow at 11:00am, and Day 1d at 7:30pm.

Only three players have breached the 100,000 mark, but many are quickly catching up. Here are the current leaders, along with their estimated chip counts:

We are now half-way through level 7 in Day 1b of the Wild $150, which is roughly the half-way mark of the day. The field has dropped down to 260 entries, and a few players are already building towers of chips. There will be a break after level 8, during which we will bring an update on the leaderboard.

We’ve just heard our Tournament Director recite the traditional “Shuffle up and Deal”, and with that, Day 1b of the Wild $150 is a go! So far, 248 players have taken their seats, but we can expect to see that number grow a considerable amount, as players are still lining up at the cashier. Registration will remain open through the first four levels and first break, so there is still time to come and join us in this $100,000 guaranteed prize pool event!
