Eleven players asked to see some ICM numbers, but Patrick St-Onge who was the shortest stack at the time refused the deal right away. He went on to double his chips with 7 of Diamonds 6 of Spades. He shoved from the small blind and beat Alex Plourde’s King of Spades Jack of Spades when his flopped 2-pair became a boat.

Daniel Mackay, however, was not so lucky. He lost to Martin Dufour who found quads on the board, holding Jack of Diamonds 10 of Diamonds! Daniel was out in 10th and John Yang Huynh busted just before he had the chance to move to the final table. He got the last of the $450 prizes.

On the first hand of the final, a set-up was dealt:

Kuong Chhe Kuoch: Queen of Diamonds Queen of Hearts
Frédéric Normand: King of Clubs King of Hearts

Board: 5 of Clubs 6 of Spades Ace of Clubs 6 of Diamonds 6 of Hearts

Kuoch got a slip worth $530. Patrick St-Onge followed when his small blind shove was taken care of by Alex Plourde. He cashes $670. Well done!
