There are just 22 players left in today’s tournament in the May Power Weekend, and that number could conceivably be much lower had a rash of short-stack double-ups not occurred across all three remaining tables in the second half of the last level – there were 6 doubles in a row compared with just one elimination.
There’s a new chip leader in the tournament, Eric Martin, but with so many small stacks, anyone could build up a stack to rival him quickly.
