Jean-Serge Baril has just jumped up the leader board after eliminating Martin. Martin was the chip leader only moments ago, but after losing a huge pot to Joey Boczek shortly following the break, Martin was all-in and at risk not long after.

Bozcek, the current chip leader, opened the action to 4.5K from under-the-gun, Baril made the call before the action got to Martin, on the button, who raised it up to 21K. Boczek made the call, and Baril took the opportunity to come over the top with a back-raise for all his chips, something in the neighbourhood of 100K. Martin immediately called, and Bozcek reluctantly folded.

Baril: Ace of Clubs Ace of Hearts 8 of Diamonds Queen of Diamonds

Martin: Queen of Hearts Queen of Clubs 7 of Hearts 6 of Hearts

Board: 9 of Spades 10 of Clubs King of Clubs 6 of Spades 2 of Diamonds

Baril’s aces held, letting him collect a bounty chip and more than doubling his stack.

The field has dwindled quickly in the Omaha Bounty, as only 11 players remain at the second break of the evening. Between the bounty chips in play and all the possibilities offered by four hole cards, there has been a lot of action and not a lot of folding over the course of the last two levels. We have seen a number of multi-way pre-flop all-ins, and it seems that the players are happy to take their chances and hunt for bounties whenever they have the opportunity.

Joey Boczek has been running hot all night long and controls nearly a quarter of the chips in play.

Joey Boczek, known as the Birdman,  made a late arrival to the PLO Bounty, but he has gotten off to a fast start. After collecting a bounty chip within his first orbit, Boczek has just sent another player to the rail.

Boczek played in flow in the heads-up pot on a Queen of Diamonds 10 of Clubs Queen of Clubs flop and checked to the pre-flop raiser, Nicolas Pensa. Pensa put out a hefty bet of 8,000, slightly less than the pot, and Boczek made the call. The turn brought the 2 of Hearts, and Boczek checked again before Pensa put his bounty chip in play. Boczek quickly made the call and hands were tabled.

Pensa: King of Diamonds Queen of Spades Jack of Clubs Jack of Diamonds

The 3 of Hearts hit the river, and Boczek’s flopped boat stood to let him capture another bounty chip.

A number of players joined the field as the late registration period came to an end, letting the number of entries reach 46, enough to surpass the guarantee on this event by nearly 40%.

With the frenetic action in the early levels, ten players made early exits and opted to re-enter, but the bust outs are now few and far between thanks to the deep stacks on the table and the prizes for the top six finishers in sight.

Here is the complete prize list:

    2nd$2,080

The Bounty PLO Re-entry event is living up to expectations, as the players are making the most of their deep stacks in the early levels to “pot” and “re-pot” with total abandon. There have been three eliminations so far, but all three of those players have taken advantage of the re-entry option to fire another bullet.

Here’s a look at the field so far:

    Up next: $200 + $30 + $100 PL Omaha Bounty Re-entry

    2018/05/17 - 20:06 by Shawn McCrory

The May Power Weekend continues to pick up steam this evening with an exciting event that offers players four cards, unlimited re-entries and a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool: the $200 + $30 + $100 PL Omaha Bounty Re-entry.

This is a bounty event, meaning that each elimination will earn the winner of the hand a $100 bounty chip for each player eliminated, in addition to the pot, so expect the chips to be flying early and often. This tournament starts players with 25,000 in chips, so there will be no shortage of big blinds in the early going and enough chips to take any line imaginable.

Late registration and re-entries will be available until 9:30pm so there’s plenty of time to make it to Playground to get in on the action!
