William Pauzé can’t do anything wrong. His ascent was furious, and since the last break he took out 2 more players, bringing his stack to almost a million chips, or 20% of all the chips in play!

Have a look at his last kill:

Pauzé: King of Spades Jack of Hearts
Ladouceur: Queen of Diamonds Jack of Diamonds

Board: 9 of Hearts 10 of Clubs Ace of Diamonds 7 of Hearts 9 of Clubs

    18 players – full counts

    2018/06/30 - 19:23 by Jôle Simard

From an amazing starting field of 219 players, only 18 remain. Stacks are high, but so are blinds, and at this point it is anybody’s game.

    Here is the chart:

    The teaser five

    • Big Blind: 10K
    • Button Ante: 10K
    • Chip Average: 243K

When Raphael Tran Dinh shoved preflop, Fabien Domenech lost no time and pushed his 124K forward, all-in for less. The action folded around and they went to a very uneven showdown:

Tran Dinh: 5 of Spades 5 of Hearts
Domenech: Queen of Spades Queen of Clubs

Board: 4 of Clubs 6 of Hearts 9 of Clubs King of Clubs 5 of Clubs

When the river fell, Raphael Tran Dinh let out a celebration roar, but his joy was soon weathered by his table mates who pointed out the abundance of clubs on the board. Domenech doubles up to about 260K.

Ladouceur brings Event 6 into the money

    • Level: 16
    • Small Blind: 5K
    • Big Blind: 10K
    • Button Ante: 10K
    • Chip Average: 168K
    • Remaining: 26

    2018/06/30 - 18:48 by Jôle Simard

Joshua Ladouceur, enjoying a humongous stack, just open jammed from the 2nd position. The action was folded around to Danik L’écuyer, who made the correct call from the big blind. His ace-king was looking really good against Joshua’s ace-jack, but the flop showed a jack and hand-for-hand play was over.

Table 33 has seen some pretty wild action, and Nicolas Cimon was the latest victim. Mohammad Osman keeps bringing funky stuff to the table. In this hand, he was all-in preflop against Cimon and at risk, again.

Osman: Ace of Diamonds 9 of Clubs
Cimon: King of Diamonds King of Hearts

Board: 5 of Spades 2 of Hearts Ace of Spades 7 of Hearts 2 of Clubs

When the ace fell, Cimon mentioned that he thought the table could go back to playing poker for a while, but Osman pulled off another upset, and the funk lives on.
