Mathieu Boucher has moved from small raises to all-in bets, but this hand, he reverted to a small raise from the under-the-gun position. The action was folded to Sébastien Morissette in the big blind. He counted his chips and considered a call, but finally announced all-in, and Boucher called instantly.

Morissette: 9 of Clubs 9 of Hearts
Boucher: King of Spades King of Diamonds

Board: 6 of Clubs 8 of Clubs 10 of Clubs 7 of Clubs Queen of Clubs

Straight flush! Morissette doubled his belongings to almost 2.5M, leaving Michael Khan in a desperate chip situation. Khan, after one of Boucher’s rare folds, went all-in and found a call from Morissette who was loving his new chips.

Khan: Queen of Diamonds Jack of Diamonds
Morisette: King of Spades 3 of Hearts

Board: King of Clubs 4 of Spades 6 of Hearts Ace of Diamonds 8 of Hearts

King high held, and Michael Khan lost the folding game. He got $7,520 for his 4th place finish. Nice run!

Four players are now on break. Since Dugas’ departure in 5th, Mathieu Boucher has been bullying his table mates ruthlessly. The chips distribution is just too perfect not to take advantage of.

    SébastienMorissetteSeat 10985,000

For the whole last level, he has raised the 100K big blind to 230$ about 2 out of 3 times. His opponents are very interested in enjoying some pay jumps, and Boucher is building a commanding lead, just smooth sailing towards a win. Plays resumes soon.

François Dugas had a rough patch and his once leading stack had crumbled quite a bit. After doubling Sébastien Morissette, he was sitting with the shortest stack on the table and he found a hand to go all-in with.

Morissette tried to isolate him by going all-in himself, but Gianfranco Giordano was sitting in the big blind with a monster. They went to the board 3-way.

Dugas: King of Clubs Jack of Clubs
Morissette: 9 of Hearts 9 of Spades
Giordano: Ace of Diamonds King of Diamonds

Board: 5 of Diamonds 6 of Spades 4 of Clubs 7 of Spades 10 of Hearts

In the absence of high cards, Morissette’s nines were strong, and he got back in the game which is now 4-handed. François Dugas got a slip worth $5,770. Excellent work!

Play has been rather quiet for a while, as very few hands develop into a multi-action story. In this hand, everybody folded to the blinds. Mathieu Boucher shoved into Nicolas Miron, disguising his hand well. Miron had a good pair and called.

Boucher: King of Hearts King of Spades
Miron: 8 of Diamonds 8 of Clubs

Board: Queen of Clubs Jack of Diamonds Queen of Spades Queen of Diamonds Queen of Hearts

Boucher got the check mark on the turn, and his king high got him the knockout. Miron played a great game and his 6th place finish is worth $4,630. Congratulations!

When Mathieu Boucher opened to 190K from the cut-off, Amirpasha Emami went all-in for about a million chips, from the button. Boucher asked for a count, but already had the calling chip in his hand. Emami had done that against him once of twice in recent times, and Boucher did not feel like letting him get away with it again. Also, he had Jacks.

Boucher: Jack of Clubs Jack of Diamonds
Emami: Ace of Clubs Queen of Clubs

Board: 9 of Spades King of Spades 5 of Clubs 3 of Hearts 6 of Clubs

Amirpasha Emami takes $3,850 for his 7th place. Good performance!

This pot was opened to 130K by François Dugas. Sébastien Morissette called, and Paul Hartman, sitting in the blinds, committed his remaining 205K. Both players called.

The flop was checked, but Dugas placed a bet on the turn and Morissette went away.

Dugas: King of Clubs Jack of Hearts
Hartman: Ace of Spades King of Spades

Board: King of Diamonds 4 of Clubs Jack of Diamonds 10 of Hearts 10 of Diamonds

Hartman had shown great patience and finally found a premium hand, but it got undone. He cashes $3,070 for his performance. Great run!
