Nicolas Miron was down to less than 10 big blinds when he woke up with Ace of Diamonds 10 of Diamonds. Knowing that he was unlikely to find a better spot, he moved all-in and picked up two callers, William Perreault and Francis Rivest.

It was a dream flop for Miron, Queen of Spades 10 of Hearts 10 of Spades, and Perreault made a bet of 100k in an attempt to build a side pot. The bet chased Rivest out of the pot, and Perreault confidently rolled over his Ace of Hearts Queen of Clubs, only to be outdone by Miron’s trips. The runout, 6 of Hearts King of Diamonds, confirmed the situation on the flop, and Miron got to stacking his new-found chips.
