Sebastien Morrissette just found himself in a raising war with Vincent Tremblay – among the leaders all day – and managed to pull out a win after open shoving on the flop.
The action was cutoff against button, and Sebastien opened to 31K. Vincent, immediately to his left in and on the button, raised to 95K, and action folded back to Sebastian who re-popped to 235K. Vincent made the call and a half-million chip pot was suddenly at stake.
The flop came out and Sebastian instantly shoved all-in for his remaining 162K.
Vincent tanked. He held half a million chips behind, and you could almost see the wheels turning in his head as he tried to work out a solution. Eventually, though, Vincent made the fold and Sebastien stacked the chips.
