It’s a rare enough thing to see that the showdown itself provokes a reaction when two players are all-in both holding a pair of Aces – but it was a much louder reaction when one of the players wins the hand… and that’s what brought us to table 20 just in time to see the showdown between Cameron Battikha’s Ace of Hearts Ace of Clubs and Haipeng Pang’s Ace of Spades Ace of Diamonds.

Anderson Frank-Graham – the player who had been sitting right between the two in seat 6 – explained that “they were playing trappy trappy to the turn,” he said, “but then the chips got in.”

The full board was Queen of Clubs 8 of Diamonds 5 of Clubs 4 of Clubs 2 of Clubs and the nightmare scenario was complete for Pang, who was visibly upset by the turn of events.
