While the final day of Event 1 is played out at one end of the Tournament Hall, we’ll also see the first single-day event in the Winter Festival. Tonight’s tournament is Event #2, a $200 + $20 NL Hold’em 8-Max tourney that starts at 7:30pm.
The 8-Max format has been a mainstay of the weekly Playground Poker Club tourney calendar for years and remains one of the most popular, if only for the added comfort level at tables with only 8 players instead of the typical 9 or 10 in a full-ring tournament.
