It’s something that every poker player will witness eventually, but it’s still fun – if a little frustrating – to see happen live.

In a recent hand between Georges Hallak and William Blais, action preflop was pretty subdued, but the 5 of Clubs 10 of Spades 8 of Hearts flop the players got into a (short) raising war that ended with an all-in plaque in front of each of them. William flipped his cards first: Ace of Clubs Ace of Diamonds. When Georges saw the hand he grimaced – and flipped over Ace of Hearts Ace of Spades. The turn and river were the 5 of Diamonds 8 of Spades and they chopped the pot.
