Time has run out in Day 1F, and of the 213 players that began the flight, 56 have managed to bag some chips onto Day 2. Once the tournament staff has compiled it, we will publish the Day 2 seating draw, as well as the full list of player-reported chip counts of all the qualifiers from the 6 starting flights that took place.
The biggest stack of the night was bagged by Donghai Lu (pictured right), who ended the flight with 171,000 in chips. Rounding the top 3 are Stephen Nahm (165,500) and David Bolduc Hamel (162,000). The biggest pot of the night happened on the very last hand of play, as Langis Degranpre and Joey Boczek got into a raising war pre-flop resulting in a 157.5K pot. When all was said and done, Joey tabled
and was ahead of his opponent’s
, until a queen reared her head on the river to award the pot to Langis. Joey, heartbroken, was left with only two T500 chips behind.
