With some recent eliminations, Event 5 has dropped under 27 players. Our last 3 tables have formed, and Paul El-Khouri is still in the lead, although Siamak S is quickly catching up to him.

Jason Comtois fell when his Ace of Hearts Jack of Clubs failed to improve to a pair in his pre-flop all-in battle against Marton Szlavy’s 10 of Diamonds 10 of Hearts. The Queen of Clubs Queen of Diamonds 3 of Spades 4 of Spades 10 of Spades board brought him no help, even adding insult to injury when the river appeared.

Pascal Cornaz also went out. His elimination was a brutal one, as his 8 of Diamonds 8 of Hearts got undone when the Ace of Clubs 3 of Diamonds 3 of Clubs King of Hearts 7 of Spades board brought a much needed river for Howard Kotchie’s 7 of Clubs 7 of Hearts.

Our 27 remaining players will go on break in 45 minutes.
