Registration is now closed in Event 9, the $500 + $50 PLO. After 6 levels of registration, 48 players bought in, and 5 of them used the Re-entry option, for a total of 53 entries. It is not a bad number for a PLO tournament with a buy-in of that size.
Moments before the registration closing time, Ron Farber took out 2 players in one swoop. Bilal Abbas was all-in for just a few chips, and 2 players had come along raising, creating a side pot for themselves. Ron Farber and Andrew Johnson checked both the flop and the turn, until the river started a war.
Board: 
On the river, Farber announced pot, and Johnson quickly pushed his stack forward. Farber could not have opened his cards faster, and uttered the hurtful words: ”I have the nuts!”
