We are now nearing the end of level 7, and some players have managed to accumulate quite a few chips. No one has reached 100K yet, but this is expected to change by the next break, at which point we will bring you the first leaderboard of this flight. Have a look at some photos from level 6:

Day 1c welcomed 296 players, a great turnout. We now have 857 total entries in The Wild $150 with one more flight to come, and it looks like this tournament will once again surpass the 1000-entry mark.

Players have resumed play after their first break, and will battle until around 3am, at which point survivors will bag their chips. Let there be poker!

With almost 300 entries in this Monday night flight, the field is already bigger than that of Sunday night, and players are still coming in. Hosting The Wild is a great honor for Playground Poker Club, as its repeated popularity is testimony of our players’ appreciation. Here are some more pictures of the early action:

Day 1c is now underway. A little over 150 players have started the tournament at its first level, and this number will keep growing until about 9:30pm, at which point we will share the final number with you. Tonight’s flight is the third of four, and players will be trying to put their name on the list of qualifiers, next to the 116 that have done just that yesterday.

Let the Monday night action begin!

Tonight – Day 1C of The Wild $150

2017/01/30 - 18:21 by

In less than an hour, Day 1C of The Wild $150 gets underway (at 7:00pm) and players will have their second-last chance to qualify for Day 2 in the $100K GTD event. There were a total of 561 entries on Day 1A and 1B, and so far there are 116 players that have qualified for Day 2.

With such large numbers having entered the event yesterday, the field should blow right past the guaranteed prize pool tonight, and by the end of late registration we’ll likely see that every additional entry has added money beyond the already-formidable $100K to the prizes – and Day 1D will just add more!

Play will continue for 14 levels tonight and at the end of the action we’ll post a full list of Day 2 qualifiers and their stack sizes, as well as a single list of all qualifiers so far. You can check the results to date at any time: just visit the Event 1 Results page.

Before then, however, there’s a lot of poker to be played. Good luck to everyone in the event tonight!
