The last break of Day 1B has just passed, and the remaining 76 players are back at the tables for their final leg of the night. Only 3 levels remain before bagging, however these last levels of the flight are often the most action packed as players try to build up their stacks into Day 2.

Dimitri Tchakarov has regained the top spot on the leaderboard, and is the only player above the 200K mark. Below are the biggest stacks after 11 levels of play.

Once the flight is over and the chips have been sealed and stored for Day 2, we will publish the full list of player-reported chip counts from this second of 2 flights of The Wild $150 held today.

As a reminder, there are still two more flights scheduled for this $100K guaranteed kick-off event to the Playground Poker Winter Classic – Day 1C will take place tomorrow at 7pm, while Day 1D is scheduled for 7pm on Tuesday night. All of the qualifying players from these 4 flights will be reunited for Day 2 on Wednesday night at 7pm.

With 8 levels behind them, players in Day 1B are on a short chip-up break, as the tournament staff is racing off the T25 chips. A handful of players have already managed to break the 6-figures – below are the top counts as play resumes in level 9:

Dimitri Tchakarov

Level 6 is coming to a close in Day 1B of The Wild $150, and the biggest stack in the room currently belongs to Dimitri Tchakarov, who has managed to amass a stack north of 120K in only 3 hours of play. Poker is a game of endurance though, and the road to victory is still very long for our players, however a strong start can promise to be fruitful.

We will bring an update on the leaderboard once play falls on break after level 8.

Day 1a is a wrap

2017/01/29 - 19:30 by Jôle Simard

After the dust had settled, 72 players managed to send chips to Day 2. Our chip leader is none other than Imran Hussain, who managed to hold on to his lead throughout the last 3 levels. He has done a great job putting his chips to work, constantly adding to them in the last segment. Full Day 1a results will be posted shortly.

Update: The final Day 1A results are available here: /event-1-results/event-1-day-1a-final-counts/

Day 2 is scheduled on Wednesday night, 7:00pm. Good luck to all Day 1b participants!
