Terry Flood is currently crushing the seniors’ field, with about 140K, more than 4 times the average! Although he is more often seen at the cash tables, he is not a stranger to tournament action. He placed 7th in the $1,650 Second Chance event in the 2016 edition of the Playground Poker Falls Classic, for $7,160.00. He is now using his experience to take it to his peers.

Here is the top 5, accounted for during the second break:

2017/02/12 - 19:50 by Jôle Simard

The first break is now behind us. 118 seniors registered in the Event, allowing for 12 prizes to make up the payout table. Seconds before the break, we managed to catch the hand that made our current chip leader. When we got to the table, all cards were face up:

Terry Flood:                     10 of Hearts 9 of Clubs
Daniel Johnston:            7 of Diamonds 7 of Clubs
Malcom Harold Fraser: Ace of Spades 8 of Clubs

Board: Ace of Clubs 7 of Spades 8 of Hearts 3 of Hearts Jack of Diamonds

Malcom had flopped 2 pairs, and Daniel had flopped a set, and Terry the open-ended for the nuts. Some flop! We don’t know what the action was, but we know that Terry filled up on the river, and took them both out, making a chip leader out of himself with about 70K, far ahead of anyone else. Good start for Terry!
