Event 12 in the Playground Poker Winter Festival is up and well, with over 100 entries already. The atmosphere is at its best; people are making jokes, teasing each other. Some seniors are here to show what they can do, some just to have a good time. The first break is coming soon, and we will then be able to publish the total attendance and prize pool details. Tonight is the latest in our ongoing series of tournaments reserved for players who are 50 years of age or older. We’ve hosted tournaments for this group of players for several festivals in a row now, and every event has been a success – so we’re expecting no less from this edition of the tournament!
The buy-in this time is $150 + $15 and play will continue tonight through as many 20-minute blind levels as it takes to crown a new Seniors’ Tournament champion. Late registration is open through the first 4 levels of play, meaning that you can join the event any time until 7:30pm.
The tournament director has just made the introductory announcements and with that, cards are in the air!
