Not long ago, Michael Aron was all-in and at risk on the bubble with only 22,500 (4.5 big blinds) to his name. His doubled through the of Alexandre Lavigne, and since then he managed to run his stack up and above 350,000.
Once play fell 6-handed, he got involved in two back-to-back hands versus chip-leader Nicolas Le Floch which spelled his elimination.
On the first hand, he limped from the button and called a raise from Nicolas in the small blind to go heads-up to the flop. Michael followed Nicolas’ flop-bet, but let go of his hand when Nicolas fired a hefty 100,000 turn-bet.
On the next hand, Michael opened to 25,000 from the cutoff, and Nicolas 3-bet to 52,000 from the button. Michael moved all-in for just under 150,000 and found a quick call.

The runout was no good for Michael, sending him out of the Second Chance Event in 6th place. Nicolas climbed to 1,250,000 with that pot and has a strangle-hold lead on the field, nearing 50% of the chips in play 5-handed.
6th place: Michael Gary Aron – $7,220.00
