If you’re concerned about your Sunday sports fix, remember that today’s hockey game will be shown on a majority of the screens throughout the room – and you’ll be finished in time to watch the big football game.

It’s a lovely, mild Sunday in the Montreal area and here at Playground Poker Club, players have taken their seats to begin play in Day 1E of The $250 Frenzy. This is the 5th of 6 starting flights in the event, and with 655 entries already booked, the number of entries required to surpass the guarantee should be achieved today – and every entry past that point will grow the prize pool more and more.

There are 134 stacks that have qualified for Day 2 so far, although one player has qualified twice and the smaller stack will be removed. So a total of 133 unique players have secured their participation in Day 2, which will begin on Monday evening at 7:00pm.

The tournament director has just made the introductory announcements and with that, cards are now in the air!

Good luck on the felts!
