Players are now at level 6, well into this starting flight, about an hour away from the half-way mark. The final number of 166 players is just 3 under that of Friday night’s flight, a very good turnout for what is considered to be an early start, by poker player’s standard. We now have 446 entries in this Frenzy, and we are eager to see the size of tonight’s field, which should fill the tournament hall nicely.

Registrations are nearing 150, and it’s starting to look like Day 1c will get almost as many players as the Friday night flight, which is pretty impressive. There is another full hour before registration closes, at which point we will provide the attendance-related info. Here is our first gallery of the day, a collection of fresh players’ snap shots.
It’s Day 1c of the $250 Frenzy at Playground Poker Club, and early starters are flowing in. Moments ago, dealers were getting ready for Saturday morning action, and they are now at the tables, welcoming our Frenzy players. 280 players joined in before today, cumulated through the first 2 starting flights, and already 100 have registered this morning, indication of a huge Saturday turnout.
This week-end will harbour the last 4 starting flights of Event 3, the $250 Frenzy, so it should be a very busy one. Day 1c’s first break is scheduled at noon, leaving plenty of time for you to join us. Make your way to Playground Poker Club and push some chips!

Lucian Mariuta (pictured right) has build himself a massive chip-stack in the last few orbits after eliminating other big-stacked Glen Sauve in a recent hand. He now sits on 287K, more than 4 times the current average stack. Randy Khalil has maintained a spot amongst the leaders and now holds 213K for second in chips.

After 8 levels of play, the biggest stack in the room belongs to Randy Khalil, who has increased his 20K stack up to over 150K. Lucian Maritua and Maxime Cloutier have already breached the 6-figures so far, while the rest of the field falls below the 100K mark.
