During the break, Carter Swidler was moved to table 40 to balance the tables. He won the first 3 pots since the break. On the first hand, his utg open-shove was uncalled and he picked up the blinds. On the second hand, he got a walk in the big blind. The third hand went as follows:

Jean-Pascal Savard opened to 45,000 from under the gun, and Jordan Saccucci moved all-in from the button for 82,000. With 260,000 now in front of him, Carter 4-bet all-in from the small blind, and Jean-Pascal folded his cards after a minute in the tank.

Jordan: Ace of Hearts King of Clubs
Carter: Ace of Clubs Jack of Diamonds

Carter caught the river on the 6 of Spades 5 of Diamonds 2 of Clubs 2 of Hearts Jack of Hearts board to add some much needed chips to his growing armory, and Jordan was eliminated in 14th place.

He was down to 28,000 a few hands ago and found a quadruple by running the nut flush on the board. Moments later, he open-shoved for 108,000 from under the gun, and only Jean-Pascal Savard made the call.

Victor: 4 of Clubs 4 of Diamonds
Jean-Pascal: King of Clubs King of Diamonds

Victor didn’t manage to survive this 20/80 as the board ran out Ace of Clubs 10 of Hearts 10 of Clubs Jack of Hearts Jack of Diamonds, and he was eliminated in 15th place.

Play continues to be very active since the start of level 22.

Eric Afriat placed a button-raise, then called the short-stacked all-in of Carl Des Granges from the big blind.

Eric: Queen of Spades Jack of Hearts
Carl: 9 of Hearts 7 of Diamonds

Board: 3 of Clubs 4 of Clubs 5 of Spades 5 of Diamonds Ace of Clubs

Eric’s queen-high was good enough to win the pot, eliminating Carl from the WPT Playground.

Moments later, a big pot was formed pre-flop between Hendrik Latz and Ryan Tack Yu. Hendrik tabled 9 of Spades 9 of Clubs, but was bested by Ace of Hearts Queen of Diamonds on a Jack of Spades Jack of Clubs 3 of Spades Ace of Diamonds 7 of Hearts to end his run in 20th.

Allan Puzantian was the next to go, as his set of 6 of Hearts 6 of Diamonds fell second best to Ema Zajmovic’s set of Queen of Clubs Queen of Diamonds on a 6 of Spades 5 of Diamonds Jack of Spades Queen of Spades 3 of Clubs board.

The field is now down to 18 players, and a redraw is currently taking place.
