Harley Stoffmaker was just eliminated in 28th place from the WPT Playground by Kelly Kellner. Kelly defended his big blind facing a button-raise, and check-raised on a King of Spades 7 of Diamonds 5 of Spades flop before calling Harley’s 3-bet all-in.

Harley: 7 of Hearts 6 of Hearts
Kelly: King of Clubs 9 of Hearts

The 3 of Hearts turn gave Harley an added gut-shot, however Kelly locked in the pot once the river brought the 3 of Diamonds – sending Harley to the rail.

Here is the official seating draw for Day 3 of the WPT Playground, which is set to resume on Monday February 13th at 12:00pm.

Day 3 will start with just 28 players remaining, which will make for a bit of a hectic start to play for the day. Day 2 of the partypoker.net WPT Playground has just been completed, and from the 157 runners that started the day, 28 remained to bag chips onto Day 3. The race atop the leaderboard is very close, as the top 4 players are within 3 big blinds of each other – however the official title of chip leader goes to Hendrik Latz, who will return to the felts with 838,000 chip tomorrow.

Hendrik Latz who took over the chip-lead in the last moments of Day 2 by eliminating Nicolas Le Floch. He only bagged 4K more than previous chip-leader Jean-Pascal Savard, who began Day 2 near the top of the leaderboard and maintained a healthy stack throughout the 9 levels of play. Jean-Pascal took over the chip-lead just before dinner break by eliminating Michel-Claude Baroud, and then extended his lead by knocking out Thundup Ringpa on the money-bubble with Ace of Hearts Ace of Diamonds over Ace of Clubs King of Clubs for nearly half-a-million in chips.

Eric Afriat bagged 825,000 for the third biggest stack of the day. He leaped far ahead of the field early in Day 2, and stayed atop the leaderboard until Jean-Pascale took control just before the dinner break. Kelly Kellner rounds the top 4 with a stack of 809,000, and he too is right on the tail of the chip-lead.

Below is a list of the player-reported chip counts from the end of Day 2. There will be a seating redraw for Day 3, which we will publish in a few moments. Re-draws will then taken place when the field drops to 27 players, 18 players and then one last time for the 10-handed “unofficial” final table.

Three players who have made a WPT Main Event final table here at Playground Poker Club are still in the running – Ema Zajmovic (5th in November 2016 for $102,010), Jake Schwartz (6th in November 2016 for $81,740) and Carter Swidler (5th in November 2015 for $108,410).

Day 3 begins at 12pm tomorrow, and you can follow all the action via our own Playground Poker Blog.

See you tomorrow!
