The 5 levels of play scheduled for Day 3 are now complete, and in the last few minutes of the day the field reached the unofficial 10-handed final table of the WPT Playground.

Ema Zajmovic leads the field as she nears her second consecutive WPT official final table here at Playground Poker Club, after finishing 5th in the WPT Montreal in November 2016. She would need a top 3 finish to best her previous cash, however we know her eye is on first place, and first place only.

The road will be difficult for our future champion, as the finalists are a fierce group of poker players who have each demonstrated they have what it takes to become a WPT Champion. One of them, Eric Afriat, has already claimed victory in a WPT Main Event in the past, having taken down the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown back in April 2014 for a 7-figure score.

Local wizard Carter Swidler may not have bagged the biggest stack, but he is no stranger to final tables and is looking to improve on his 5th place finish in the 2015 WPT Montreal, and add another score to his impressive resume.

Henry Tran has also proven over the years that he is a force to be reckoned with, and although he had a rough end of Day 3, he is sure to come out swinging tomorrow.

Players will keep the same seating draw as they ended the day in, and action will resume at 12pm. Follow live updates from the final table via our own Playground Poker Blog, as well as on the WPT Live Updates.

See you tomorrow!
